Legal Aid Service of Broward County's HIV/AIDS Project provides representation in the following areas:
Advanced Directives

· Designation of Health Care Surrogate

· Medicare & Medicaid

Services under this project are provided by both Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LAS) and Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida.(CCLA).
Eligibility:
-
- Household income which places the client under 300% of the federal poverty level (FPL)
- Documentation of HIV status
Certified referrals from other Ryan White agencies and case managers are accepted.
Intake:
- Because of the eligibility documentation required, walk-ins are not generally accepted and an appointment is required with updated documentation.
- Call Legal Aid's office at 954-765-8950 to schedule an appointment.
- In extraordinary circumstances, home or hospital visits can be arranged.
